The second addition to the Polish tech tree - the first tier 8 premium heavy tank for the nation, currently known as the Czolg T wz51 - has arrived on Supertest (note that it's name may be subject to change before release). It boasts a powerful 122mm main cannon with the highest alpha damage for heavy tanks at its' tier, as well as strong frontal armor protection and decent gun depression angles. This is compensated for by rather lackluster mobility and fairly mediocre side/rear armor.
2018 is set to become a hallmark for two nations in World of Tanks. You’ve read about Italian tanks rolling into battle — currently in Common Test and arriving next update — so now it’s time to shift the spotlight to the newcomers from Central Europe.
Here’s an overview of the Polish nation’s tanks and their peculiarities, including a tentative roster and features of the first Premium Polish tank designed in that country.
Please welcome, the Poles!
Update 1.0.1 enters its second iteration of Common Testing. If you haven't taken the new features for a spin yet, now is the time to hop aboard the test, get hands-on time with them, and contribute to fine-tuning the update on the road to release!
As the Italian nation is currently being tested, Poland is the next nation in line to join the game. We have trusted information that is likely to be true, but as with all leaks, take them with a pinch of salt:
Wargaming is reluctant to add post-WWII vehicles, as those are mostly russian designs. Wargaming seeks to add as unique vehicles as possible, without dwelling into modifications.
If you aren't up to speed: The Russian federation banned access to the messaging service "Telegram". Today: since 15:00 PM Moscow time; over 16 million IP addresses from Google and Amazon have been blocked. This mass blocking seems to have negatively affected WG services as well, resulting in a number of Russian players reportedly not being able to connect to the servers of many Wargaming titles.
Screenshots from the Supertest for the as of yet unfished model of the new Soviet Object 277. Notably: the front of the hull seems more similar to the boat shaped hull of the object 907, rather than the traditional pike nose.
So what is this "Mastery" stuff?
You “master” a tank when you earn more Base XP in a single battle than the highest average Base XP earned in a single battle by 99% of players of that same tank within the past seven days.
Simply put, just try and beat the average.
This earns you three Tank Mastery emblems!
If you attain mastery in any of the featured vehicles while the Tank Mastery mission is active, you also get a +100% (2 hours) Free XP Personal Reserve!
World of Tanks turns seven this year, and to celebrate, it's a x5 XP weekend, we've got discounts, and a special mission to mark the event! Do you have the skills required to earn the Anniversary Emblem?
The Frontline mode on the reworked 3x3 km Epic Normandy map became available on the general test. Many interesting things were brought, including new mechanics. Only for tier 8 machines.
