The full set of preliminary stats for the tier 8 Polish non-premium heavy tank, 53TP Markowskiego, have arrived from the supertest (alongside the 50TP Tyszkiewicza's). The vehicle is set to have better armor than its' predecessors; however, the hull is not particularly well-protected, and the vehicle, while not as slow as its' brethren at tier 9 and 10, is not exactly the most mobile (especially compared to the lights and mediums which lead up to it in the tree). The main strong points of this vehicle are its' gun - a 122mm gun currently set to have 420 alpha damage - and turret armor, as well as good gun depression angles. Read on for more details.
Author's note: Apologies for the delay in posting these -- it's been a bit of a busy week over here. Nonetheless, the news is here!
The full list of stats for the tier 9 Polish heavy tank - 50TP Tyszkiewicza - have arrived from the supertest, along with some more screenshots. The vehicle is set to be armed with a 130 mm cannon with 560 alpha damage and strong turret armor with good gun depression angles, offset by somewhat poor mobility and (at least, thus far) mediocre hull armor. Two years ago, our football mode made its return to celebrate the football frenzy going on in France through the summer. This year, we’re ready to celebrate the biggest footballing nations around the world (and England) gathering together in Russia to prove who’s the best. That means we’re bringing football mode back but with some extra additions and improvements over the mode that saw the light of day in 2016.
Get ready for the arrival of Update 1.79! The following announcement has been posted on War Thunder's official portal, confirming that the required server maintenance for the update is scheduled for tomorrow morning: "At 08:00 GMT on the 12th of June the server will not be available as we will be implementing Update 1.79 "Project X"! in War Thunder. We will inform you when maintenance is over. Premium accounts will be compensated for the downtime. Thank you for your patience!"
World of Tanks - Fixing the Comrades: Three Soviet Tanks Get Required Adjustments (Updated with Obj. 277 & K-91 Changes)
Approaching Soviet reinforcements—Object 277 and K-91—will get their first taste of battle upon the release of Update 1.0.2. After being thoroughly assessed during our Common Tests, these machines are getting their share of adjustments. Alongside these newcomers, the Object 268 Version 4 has been tweaked to better fit the overall gameplay.
The full set of preliminary statistics for the 60TP Lewandowskiego, the heavy tank at the top of the new Polish branch, has arrived. Being the crowning of the tree, the 60TP has a great armor and a large-caliber gun that deals 750 damage (130mm and 152mm guns are being tested; the choice between them will be made later). The main disadvantages of the vehicle are fairly mediocre average penetration and limited mobility (due to the low power-to-weight ratio of 10-13 hp / t). This vehicle will be a compact "super-heavy" tank, slowly pushing the opponent's line of defense while blocking lots of damage and dishing out high damage per-shot in return.
