A handful of vehicles have been spotted with some visual changes to their current forms on the current Shop Common Test. These icons show on the new splash screen which now pops up after purchasing a new vehicle. The vehicles themselves have yet to be changed in the actual game, but their icons differ visually from their current state -- several of which reflect information previously mentioned by Wargaming. It is currently unclear whether these are planned to come to the actual game - nothing has been confirmed as of yet - but anything is possible. Read on to see the icons, as well as some background info.
A brand-new in-game shop has been under construction for several months within the dev team, and it’s finally available for everyone to test. We’re planning to drastically change the shop’s interface and functionality, so we’re rolling out a separate Common Test specifically for the feature. Check it out!
Some in-game screenshots of the finished visual models for the new Polish light tanks, spanning tiers I-IV, have arrived from supertest, courtesy of WoT Express.
The full list of preliminary stats for the fourth and final new vehicle for the Polish tech tree, a tier IV light tank known as the 14TP, has arrived from supertest. Like its' predecessors, the vehicle has good mobility and a decent gun selection (in this case, a choice between a standard 47 mm cannon and the 40 mm Bofors auto, similar to that of the Covenanter's), compensated for by low survivability (poor armor and average health). Read on for details!
Third in the lineup of new vehicles for the upcoming Polish branch is a tier III light tank -- 10TP. The vehicle shares some visual similarities with the BT-7, which is also reflected in its' stats -- the 10TP has good mobility, poor survivability (hitpoints-and-armor-wise), and a decent gun. However, unlike the BT-7, the 10TP has a greater emphasis on its' firepower, and slightly less on its' mobility -- not to mention, it retains the very impressive -12° gun depression limit of its' predecessor, the 7TP. With that being said, here are the full preliminary stats for the vehicle, fresh from supertest!
Here is the second of the four Polish vehicles which have just arrived on supertest -- the 7TP, a tier II light tank. The vehicle appears to have slightly worse mobility than its' predecessor, albeit with improved firepower and an impressive gun depression limit of -12°. Read on for details!
Details on the tier I-IV vehicles for the upcoming Polish branch have arrived from supertest! Starting from this one, the next four posts will be focusing on the characteristics of these vehicles as they currently stand on supertest. Here is the first -- a tier I light tank known as the 4TP. There isn't much to say on this one, as it is fairly average for a tier I, but most notable is its' above-average power-to-weight ratio of 20.66 hp / t. Nonetheless, here are its' stats.
Get ready to prove yourself and earn big rewards! The rules remain the same as before - 15 ranks, chevrons, three leagues, and the “rank protection” system - but a slight adjustment has been made to benefit you in terms of explaining experience gains! Read on for details.
Today, commencing a new stage of the Kharkov map test has begun. This time, a version similar to the last one is being tested -- except, stripped of its drawbacks. The plans are to get rid of super-fast battles, to give every class a chance to shine, and to increase the playability of the open space by making it more suitable for mobile light and medium tanks.
Even more Polish tanks are arriving on supertest! Today, closed tests of the 25TP KSUST II, the Tier V standard Polish medium, have begun. Read on for the details!
Today, supertest has begun for two maps currently being reworked into HD: Ghost Town and Empire’s Border. You may (or may not) be familiar with them -- Ghost Town was previously used for Attack/Defense in Team Battles, and Empire’s Border was only available on the Chinese game client.
Supertesting will be used to assess the suitability of these maps for standard (15v15) random battles. Vehicle Tiers will be tested to find which play the best in both locations, and info will be gathered on possible problems (with firing positions, respawn imbalances, etc.). Once the supertest ends, it will be decided whether Empire’s Border and Ghost Town will make an appearance in Random Battles for all regions.
The 50TP Prototyp - the tier 8 Polish premium heavy tank formerly known as the Czolg wz51 - has received some changes to its statistics on supertest -- namely, some nerfs have been made to its' gun in both DPM and accuracy/dispersion. Read on for more details.
News on the next vehicle down the Polish tech tree - 40TP Habicha, a tier VI medium tank - has arrived from the supertest! The vehicle stands out among other tier 6 mediums due to its' armament - a 90 mm cannon with 240 alpha damage and fairly decent damage per-minute - but falls a bit short in accuracy/dispersion and armor. This is in part offset by good mobility and gun depression/elevation angles. Read on for more details!
