Frontline is finally returning to World of Tanks, kicking off on February 11th. This time Frontline has received a slight revamp making it more enjoyable than ever. It’s a little different from last year, in that 2019’s Frontline will not be a short-term event. Instead, it will consist of a whole series of events throughout the year. So, every calendar month, Frontline will kick off and be available for one week. Read up on new progression mechanic and other important changes coming with your favorite mode!
Another new American tank destroyer has appeared on supertest -- this time, in the form of the T78, a tier 6 which combines the hull of an M24 Chaffee with the turret and gun of the M36 Jackson. Check it out!

Last February we launched Mod Hub, the official portal where you can find all the newest and greatest modifications for World of Tanks. This is the only place to download the various mods that are officially approved by Wargaming, without worrying about policy violations.
Update 1.0 was truly a landmark for World of Tanks. It enriched our game with a completely revamped engine, Core, with sparkly new graphics and high-quality musical scores.
With all the hard work put in last year, the game has become more visually stunning. But what you might not know is that, behind the impressive graphics, a key part of the new engine opened the floodgates for performance optimization and further implementation of concurrent rendering. Thanks to new technologies, we’re able to get the most out of each and every graphics card and clock it at 100%.
But we didn't stop there. We’ve done our best to make the most of the CPU’s power too.

There’s plenty to look out for: Frontline test mode, new wheeled vehicles, improved Personal Missions, changes to reward tanks, new map, 2D customization additions, concurrent rendering support, and more! In addition, an important change has been made to wheeled vehicles regarding their "boost" mechanic -- namely, it has been removed. Read on for more details.
