In-game screenshots of the new pair of Russian light tanks - T-50-2 and LT-432 - have surfaced, courtesy of WoT Express. Check them out!
Some more short info, this time pertaining to the Common Test: according to Rykoszet.info, if everything goes well, then changes to the premium vehicles with preferential matchmaking at tier 8 will be making an appearance on the Update 1.2 CT soon. Keep an eye out for more info.
Quick info: it appears Wargaming has finally added back the vehicle restoration function to the shop with yesterday's micropatch. The function, which has been in the game since update 9.16, allows for restoration of sold premium tanks directly from inside the game client -- for standard premiums, within 3 days of selling the vehicle, while "special" premiums can be restored whenever (no time limit). Upon introduction of the new shop, the function was still available, but could not be done directly through the shop itself -- a complicated workaround was required to get it to work previously. Thankfully, this is no longer the case -- the feature can now be found in Depot » Vehicles in the Garage » Recovery.
(As a reminder, only vehicles sold from the game client after the introduction of the feature [around update 9.16] will be available for recovery in the in-game store. Depending on your region's policies, vehicles sold before then may be available for recovery through Wargaming support [for example, NA allows for up to 4 vehicle restoration tickets per calendar year].)

The Brits are receiving reinforcements, and it’s not the usual cup of tea and pudding -- it’s a whole new beast. Bolstering the U.K. line is a new Tier VIII Premium heavy tank, the Caernarvon Action X, and it’s the grand prize for the British Challenge, adorned in a unique camo especially for the event. Read on to learn how you can get your hands on of these for yourself!
Yet another style set has been created, this time to coincide with the "Royal Hunt" marathon, from which players can earn, among other rewards, the tier VIII British premium heavy tank -- Caernarvon Action X. Update: You will be able to earn one set for free in the marathon, and it has been reported that players will be able to purchase extra ones for 750 gold each. The set itself will be available for British vehicles which have full customization support available -- tiers VI, VIII, IX, and X. Keep on reading to see some more screenshots on various vehicles/maps.
Short information from Rykoszet: Reportedly, the common test for Update 1.2 should, if EVERYTHING goes well, arrive for players to try out on Thursday, 13. September in the afternoon. If not, the test will be postponed to Friday, 14. September. Here's what you can expect from this update thus far:
Wheeled vehicles make their debut on the Super Test! Read on for more info on how these vehicles will function in World of Tanks, as well as some special mechanics currently being tested for them.
Yesterday (9. Sept), both Russians and Belorussians celebrated Tankman Day, a holiday to honor the merits of mechanized and armored forces during the Great Patriotic War. An event to celebrate the occasion, organized by Wargaming, took place in Minsk, as well as a short Q&A with the Developers. WoT News and WoT Express have published transcriptions from this Q&A, which we have translated into English here.
UPDATE (16:39 PST): Reformatted the post to hopefully make it a bit easier to read (as before, it was just a massive wall of text, with no particular rhyme or reason to its' organization [other than chronology from the transcript]). Also, a few grammatical / technical errors have been fixed.
Today, Supertesting of a Soviet heavy that hasn't been in the spotlight for long - the IS-3A - has begun. The version tested has an interesting quirk: an autoreloader. The objective of the test is assessing how the mechanic works with a heavy tank.
However, please note: this is apparently serving as a testbed to check how the autoreloading mechanic works on a heavy tank -- not changes this particular vehicle just yet. Also, keep in mind that this is the first iteration: the mechanic may be adjusted and/or have its' stats changed later.
Anyway, without further ado, onto the details!
Since the new set of personal missions arrived with the release of Update 1.1 to the live servers, some changes have already been made to the Object 279(e) (a.k.a. Object 726), as determined by results from the Supertest.
Two new camouflage style sets have been found in the game client, which were added in Update 1.1 -- "Autumn Wind" and "Moon Camo". Both are treated as non-historical elements, and are available to be applied on vehicles of any nation and tier. It is currently unknown how either of these will be obtainable (or even if they'll be available to all regions); however, here are some screenshots in the meantime (courtesy of WoT Express).
In addition to the Empire's Border map, Highway will be making a comeback in HD sometime in the near future. Currently, the map retains the layout and overall gameplay feel of the original, SD map, mainly only receiving visual enhancements.
