A new tank has arrived on the World of Tanks supertest: this time around, an Australian version of the Centurion Mk. 5/1. The most notable features of the 5/1 were its reinforced frontal armor, improved machine guns, and more powerful engine. This tank was in service with Australian tank units during the Vietnam War, where its combat qualities were judged by both sides.
Comparing the "Australian" with the other Centurions at tier 8, note that it has a slightly better mobility, stabilization, and frontal hull armor, but with slightly reduced hitpoints - 1400 instead of the usual 1450. Therefore, the Centurion Mk. 5/1 RAAC will assume the traditional style of gameplay for tanks of this type, but with some small variations.
Depending on the test results, the characteristics of the vehicle may change. (Click "Read More" to see the full set of statistics for the vehicle as they currently stand at the time of writing [April 6th, 2018.])
