Today, the developers have presented some proposed changes for the Ruinberg map, which has arrived on supertest. These changes are aimed to make the map more playable, and many of them concern the amount of open space (or the relative lack thereof in certain spots). Read on to find out more, as well as to see comparisons of the old and new map versions.
The changes mainly focus on opening up the eastern flank of the map -- some buildings have either been re-positioned or removed entirely, and the terrain has been revised slightly in order to increase the overall effectiveness in the balance of fighting on this side. These changes are meant to further facilitate synergy between the town (west) and the more open section (east).
